sour milk – auditions

February 2nd, 2010

BUMP!

Plot: Two love birds on the day of their first year anniversary, a day that should be full of bliss… Becomes a day of hell for both the Husband and Wife.

In search of Actors,  that wish to gain some exposure and footage for your reel. I’m a low budget / no budget indie film maker, therefore this is a non paying gig. For your efforts, a copy of the finished film and permission to use it for your reel.

Dates: Two days of filming. Weekend between mid-March and early-April.

Times: Roughly all-day (morning, afternoon, evening)
Where: London, Ontario

The characters I’m looking for. For more details and email me at: rry “at” ryanryager “dot” com

Tubby” – Male
Age: Mid-twenties to mid-thirties
His passion for deep fried fast food is unhealthy, but his mindset towards greens is like Homer Simpson “You don’t win friends with salad.”. His values and believes are those of a conservative, and like Ronald Reagan (40th President) he hates damn dirty hippies.

Eight-ball” – Male
Age: Mid-twenties to forties
A loather of noise, unless he’s controlling it. Grown up with influences such as Sid from Sex Pistols, punk is in his blood and his attitude shows that. Despite his curious ways, he’s an effective leader. Easily excitable. Two-faced; actions shift from violent and manic to calm and collected.

Husband” – Male
Age: Mid-twenties to mid-thirties.
Infatuated with his Wife. The short-lived love crazed passion between two newly newlyweds, the kinda love you see Ilsa Lund has for Rick Blaine in Casablanca. Hard-working, provider, responsible, loyal and good hearted.

updates

August 12th, 2009

Website updates, oh my!

  • “423 Kook” finally has photos showing off local graffiti that was once on the Embassy Hotel, this hotel is no longer standing. The building was burnt to the ground on May 12, 2009. London Free Press video about the fire.
  • “Fringe 62-hour film contest – buy the ticket, take the ride” Added a video link from London Free Press explaining what the Fringe 62-hour film contest was all about, you can check it here.
  • “Imadon – Sistine Chapel Project” has been added to the designs page, showcasing not just my portion but the entire project, with videos from Rogers and London Free Press.
  • “One Way Out” Mark Drewe has allowed me to host his video on the site so everyone can view it. Check it out on the “designs” page.

I also wanted to note that I’ve been trying to fix all the kinks and bugs with the website not working in all browsers…  Opera is loaded with bugs and the only way to correct them would be to add “hacks”, and I won’t be doing that. Firefox has issues loading images sometimes and I’m unable to figure out the reason behind this, maybe it’s their engine.  And I’ve never tested with Google Chrome, and have zero intentions in installing that browser on my system, so if you have Chrome let me know how it looks!

I do recommend for best viewing IE6, IE7, IE8 and Safari. Firefox does work, just sometimes you’ll need to keep clicking that reload button until all the images show up.

Cheers

new webhost.

February 23rd, 2009

After much debate I felt it was time to switch to another web host, and after doing some heavy research… found that hostgator.com was a fair choice, decent price for the features your getting. Its a challenging task to find a good webhost specially when it seems a new ones sprouts up all the time.
